The Antall József Knowledge Centre organises a series of lectures every spring term as a side event of the SUSCO Budapest conference on sustainability, held annually. The purpose of the lecture series is to call university students' attention to the importance of sustainable development.

At the next SUSCO Youth event we will discuss the importance of an Energy Efficient Urban Development with special focus on the energy efficiency of buildings in Budapest.

The number of urban dwellers is growing each year, and thus, the environmentally conscious creation of urban spaces enabling the interaction of citizens is essential for their well-being. Furthermore, wise and energy efficient urban planning can also be a climate adaptation tool for the key city shapers. Distinguished experts will introduce the main principles of energy efficient urban planning, as well as provide the audience with a practical example from the field, where energy efficiency is currently applied - construction of our buildings.
